  • Maintain the confidentiality of administrative credentials and restrict access to authorized personnel only.
  • Use VoteAurora solely for legitimate and approved election purposes.
  • Promptly report any suspected data breaches or system irregularities to Aurora Software Labs.

4. Voter Responsibilities

Each voter is expected to act in good faith when participating in elections. By casting a vote through VoteAurora, you agree to:

  • Access the voting link only through authorized channels.
  • Vote only once per election.
  • Maintain confidentiality of any login or access details.
  • Report suspected impersonation, fraud, or technical issues to your institution.

5. Election Integrity

VoteAurora’s system uses encryption, tamper-proof audit logs, and secure authentication mechanisms to ensure vote integrity and anonymity. While we maintain system security, institutions remain responsible for validating voter eligibility, candidate accuracy, and the authenticity of election results.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

Your privacy and data security are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using VoteAurora, you consent to the collection and use of data strictly for election-related purposes. All data is processed in compliance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and other applicable regulations.

All intellectual property rights, including source code, designs, and trademarks associated with VoteAurora, remain the exclusive property of Aurora Software Labs. Users and institutions are granted a limited, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the platform for lawful election purposes only. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aurora Software Labs, its affiliates, and developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for the service during the twelve-month period preceding the claim.

10. Termination and Suspension

Aurora Software Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to VoteAurora if there is a breach of these Terms, suspicious activity, or misuse of the system. Institutions may also terminate their accounts by written request. Upon termination, all data will be securely deleted or anonymized within 90 days, unless retention is required by law or agreement.
