By accessing or using VoteAurora (a service provided by Aurora Software Labs), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform immediately. These Terms govern all interactions between VoteAurora and its users — including administrators, voters, and partner institutions.
VoteAurora provides a secure, verifiable, and privacy-preserving digital election platform designed for institutions, associations, and organizations. The service facilitates election setup, management, and participation with end-to-end encryption, real-time verification, and auditability.
Institutions using VoteAurora are responsible for ensuring the lawful use of the platform. Election administrators, acting on behalf of institutions, agree to:

VoteAurora’s system uses encryption, tamper-proof audit logs, and secure authentication mechanisms to ensure vote integrity and anonymity. While we maintain system security, institutions remain responsible for validating voter eligibility, candidate accuracy, and the authenticity of election results.
Your privacy and data security are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using VoteAurora, you consent to the collection and use of data strictly for election-related purposes. All data is processed in compliance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and other applicable regulations.
We aim to maintain reliable and continuous access to VoteAurora. However, occasional downtime may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues. When possible, advance notice will be provided. Aurora Software Labs will not be liable for disruptions beyond our reasonable control, such as internet outages or institutional misconfigurations.
All intellectual property rights, including source code, designs, and trademarks associated with VoteAurora, remain the exclusive property of Aurora Software Labs. Users and institutions are granted a limited, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the platform for lawful election purposes only. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aurora Software Labs, its affiliates, and developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for the service during the twelve-month period preceding the claim.
Aurora Software Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to VoteAurora if there is a breach of these Terms, suspicious activity, or misuse of the system. Institutions may also terminate their accounts by written request. Upon termination, all data will be securely deleted or anonymized within 90 days, unless retention is required by law or agreement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through confidential, binding arbitration in Accra, Ghana, under the rules of the Ghana Arbitration Centre. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on all parties.
We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect legal, security, or operational updates. When significant changes occur, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and notify registered institutions. Continued use of VoteAurora following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
