After onboarding, the Super Admin logs in to create an election from their dashboard. They’ll define election details, add portfolios, populate candidates, and arrange the ballot. Once ready, the election is submitted for approval.
The Approver reviews elections before they go live to ensure accuracy and compliance. Once approved, the system schedules the election to go live automatically at the set start time.
Yes. The Super Admin can assign an Admin to manage a specific election. This admin can perform all election-related actions within their assigned scope, but cannot access or edit other elections.
Once an election goes live, VoteAurora automatically generates unique, secure voting links for every eligible voter. These links are shared via email or SMS depending on your institution’s preference.
Voters verify their identity using a one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered contact and their Student ID. Only verified voters can access and submit their ballots.
No, only authorized Admins and the Super Admin can view live analytics and final results. Institutions can choose to publicly share results after the election closes.
Every vote cast is encrypted end-to-end and stored securely. The system uses layered authentication, tamper-proof audit trails, and real-time verification to guarantee fairness and transparency.
After elections conclude, data is archived securely for auditing and analytics. Personal voter data is anonymized and deleted per our privacy policy to protect student identities.
